MOLE END ½" SCALE ~

Jill's charming interpretation of the children's classic, "Wind in the Willows" , is recreated here in ½" scale in an open book. Mole is working hard on his spring cleaning chores, up on his ladder whitewashing the ceiling. Mole's garden and doorway are on the book's exterior with his charming little home inside. Learn faux wood graining, stonework and more. The garden with willow tree, sun medallion, doorway, bell pull and "Mole End" plaque are included in the workshop. THE DOG HOUSE SHOP ¼" SCALE

MAGIC OF THE DRILL PRESS

The emphasis is on drill press techniques but students will also cut/shape wood for a project, (but not assemble it in class ) learning to cut perfect circles, molding dados, rabbets, inlays, mortise and tenons (plus learn what all these words mean!) For all who cringe at the sound of an electrical tool, take a deep breath and let Tom teach you drill press techniques. Students will leave with a whole new skill set for miniatures.
